Resources & Training

We believe in the proficient use of resources and the professional management of services which incorporates quality control, risk management and compliance with statutory requirements. This commitment means that the technological resources utilised by IDS are the most up to date available in the industry.

Our staff and contractors have a unique mix of high level skill sets covering investigations, law, human resources and research analysis. IDS delivers expert services reflecting the depth and breadth of our staff resources.

Our ongoing commitment to training, ensures that our employees and sub-contractors are skilled and conversant with all processes and systems. They can embrace change and proactively assist our clients in their requirements. IDS ensures that all investigations and commercial agent staff, are conversant with and receive changes to latest legislation, including State and Federal laws and regulations. We also confirm that our staff and contractors are aware of our clients’ needs, instructions, processes, standards, specifications, Code of Conduct and Ethics.

All IDS Management Staff have participated in Privacy Training through the Institute of Mercantile Agents (IMA). Senior Management has been responsible for passing this information onto staff and subcontractors. Regular privacy refresher training is provided to staff and Brisbane based subcontractors. Subcontractors from other regions of Queensland are required to maintain their privacy knowledge as a condition of working with our organisation. IDS investigators and administrative staff attend outsourced lectures and workshops on a regular basis and on occasions have been sent overseas for training in specialist areas. IDS retains a training log which includes details of all training conducted for staff and agents.

IDS believes that it is a leader in its field in terms of training and continual development and this is reflected by its invitation to attend at various seminars and training facilities and in-house client training seminars.
